I asked for a grace period in UPower to avoid removal of its lid handling functionality before systemd's PropertiesChanged addition to LidClosed gets released to everyone. And found an open ear, the removal has been reverted for now. So we might have enough time to do the migration properly, probably until approx. summer 2024. (So we should still target 6.1, which is not that far out.)
